SGML Documentation Package |
Get this starter kit for SGML documentation! Benefit from our experience! Within a few minutes you will be able to write technical
documents or even books and print them!
You can easily adapt this set of SGML DTDs and DSSSL style sheets for your own needs.
After purchasing you can immediately download the ZIP file containing the SGML starter package with the content described below.
The DTD and related style sheet for RTF print export can be used immediately and are even suitable to be used as HTML files so that you only have one source for printed documents and online publications.
This package is aimed at the newcomer in structured documentation and ideal to learn it's principles in an inexpensive
and fast way. It contains a complete set of files and tools which enable you to write documentation in SGML.
You simply have to copy the files to a dedicated directory of your choice, make a few adaptations which are clearly
described in our documentation and you will be ready to generate your own SGML based documentation.
The following files are contained in the SGML package:
| 1. | Two DTD for documents or books with 5 levels of sub-sections. The syntax is compatible to HTML, so that you can publish your documents also in HTML by simple copy and paste and a few adaptions. |
| 2. | Two DSSSL scripts to convert the SGML files into RTF format which you can then print, or use for further edit in standard text editors as e.g. WinWord. |
| 3. | The JADE converter which transforms your SGML in RTF. (only for 32bit Windows systems!). This is an older version of JADE, but it is very well usable and easy to install. You can start off with this tool and upgrade for yourself to newer versions after gaining some experience with the older version. |
| 4. | An EMACS editor with SGML plugins to edit your SGML files. (only for 32bit Windows systems!) his is an older version of EMACS, but it is very well usable and easy to install. You can start off with this tool and upgrade for yourself to newer versions after gaining some experience with the older version. Note, that you also can use other standard text editors such as "SourceEdit" instead of EMACS. However we recommend to use an editor which is capable of syntax coloring and DTD interpretation. |
| 5. | Pre-filled examples of SGML files which you can use to test your initial installation and to see the usage of the documentation package. |
| 6. | Get our support by mail and forum access for free. |
| 7. | NO RISK FOR YOU! 8 weeks of trial period and FULL RETURN OF YOUR MONEY, if you are not completely satisfied. |
